FieldConnect processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:
FieldConnect does not intend to collect data from persons under the age of 16 on our website and/or in connection with our services, unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is under 16. We therefore encourage parents to be involved in their children’s online activities to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you believe we have collected personal data about a minor without this consent, please contact our Data Protection Officer.
FieldConnect processes personal data for the following purposes:
Processing payments;
Sending our newsletter and/or marketing communications;
Contacting customers if this is necessary for the performance of our services;
Informing customers about changes to our services and products;
Enabling customers to create an account on our site;
Delivering goods to customers;
Analyzing customer behavior on the website with the aim of improving the website and tailoring the range of products and services;
If there are legal obligations to do so.
FieldConnect does not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that could have (significant) consequences for individuals. These are decisions made by computer programs or systems, without human intervention (for example, a FieldConnect employee).
FieldConnect does not store personal data for longer than required by law and tax regulations or than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which data is collected.
FieldConnect does not sell personal data to third parties and only provides it if this is necessary for the execution of our agreements with customers or to comply with legal obligations. We have data processing agreements with companies that process personal data on our behalf. FieldConnect remains responsible for these processing operations.
FieldConnect shares personal data with third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the agreement and to comply with any legal obligations. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we have data processing agreements aimed at the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. In the case of dropshipments, we share customer data with our supplier. FieldConnect remains responsible for these processing operations. If FieldConnect shares your personal data with third parties, we do so only with your express consent.
For applications for a broadcasting license, we share personal data with the Netherlands Radiocommunications Agency. We will then request prior authorization from customers for permission to share this data.
To prepare certain quotes for which we request a project price from our suppliers, we may share customer data.
FieldConnect uses technical and functional cookies. FieldConnect also uses analytical cookies that do not infringe on your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on the visitor’s computer, tablet, or smartphone when they first visit a website. Cookies may be necessary for the technical and optimal functioning of the website and/or for the user’s convenience. Users can opt out of cookies in their internet browser. Individuals have the right to access, correct, or delete their data stored by FieldConnect. They can do this themselves through the personal settings of their account on our website. They also have the right to withdraw consent for data processing or to object to the processing of personal data by FieldConnect.
Individuals can submit a written request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization you specify. This can be done by submitting a request, including a copy of an identity document, to the Data Protection Officer. FieldConnect will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but in any case within four weeks. A complaint can be filed with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
